Why Are They Really Stopping Train Service to Jerusalem Today?
Esser Agaroth (2¢):
Why? So that no more protesters would be allowed into the city. When there had already been protests in the past, the train was my only way out of Jerusalem.
Another opportunity to give the state religious and secular to increase their hatred of the Haredim.
Public safety indeed!

I'm sympathetic to Israeli Charedim, but having "an on paper not an anti draft" atzeret after 2 years of war, refusing to allow non learners to be drafted, and refusing a system to prove that on paper learners are in fact learning, will do infinitely more to infuriate non Charedim than the train being shut down for a few hours.
